This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 09, 2008:
The "right " words that meet people where they are at
in such a way as to touch their hearts with TRUTH that sets them free,
delivers the "ah-ha" that gets them on the right track,
more REconnected with their Higher SELF,
motivated to COME HOME because they see that they CAN DO IT,
it is THEIR heritage,
and NOW IS the perfect time.
What greater 'thing' could I ask for?

I started reading Tolle’s book and the words are there, making me uncomfortable, sp they must be working!!

often it may not be the words that help others see their Oneness, it may just be your presence standing their next to them in Truth. there is no one in charge of this change, like leaves turning watch the colors change.
I appreciate all your comments and sharing for that IS the essence of Spirit, ever communicating– as the physical world mirrors our state of ONENESS by being in commune-I-cating processes with one another.
Reaching out by speaking, writing, and reflecting upon non-verbal cues and words and their ability to impact the receptivity of others, AND, adjusting accordingly so as to make a connection meaningful to the recipient, (or not) IS a very active form of Presence, is it not, dear Michael?
I've come to realize that the most humble thing we can do, is to vacate our narcissistic place, period.
In giving up trying to “be or do something 'special' for someone” in the name of being spiritual or whatever (a narcissistic endeavor), requires NOT being the one with intention.
Rather, allowing our intention to be that which flows from our intimate relationship with our Inward dwelling Spirit, our Source of all our thinking, moving, and being, per se, IS to ALLOW our Spirit SELF to be the active and choosing aspect of our HUmanness in all our relating. And is not all relating, essentially, communicating itself?
Our Higher SELF knows nothing of “eating crow” or being a teacher, Inwardly we simply teach outwardly the TRUTH we have connection with (or not) for that is how we function aware of it or not, that is the essence of our Presence communicating.
This simple state is not so simply arrived at when one's attention is focused on externalized authoring or authority as the case may be.

have you found that meeting others in their space requires paying attention, listening (truly), and PRACTICE!??
I've been noticing lately, that many younger people almost don't know how to think with a depth that was more pervasive when I was dancing around in my twenties; they simply don't put things together that logically go together unless the link is made for them.
I've been noting how questions for feedback have been helping to expose underlying areas of miscommunication that I may not have considered as “missed,” yet, are being missed!
Connecting in meaningful ways is the name of the game, not simply 'telling it like it is from my Presence per se, which is easily perceived as preaching IF I am not actually “meeting them where they are at.” This is a pivotal Montessori concept, too, which is a primary KEY to great learning and humble teaching.

how is Tolle's book making you feel uncomfortable? I am keenly interested in knowing more about this. I find his book useful, but not the tome of exceptional wisdom many have been touting it to be. Maybe, a dialogue over what's piquing at you, could help us both pull together some varying distance in Points of Perceptions?
