This is a very useful tool in grasping how Spirit and a body unite. This tree includes the “door, Daath, which one must pass through in order to have a Separation experience. This diagram can be read from 5 interdependent Arcs of understanding/re+cognition. This template provides a structure for discussing Infinity in form.
The artist of this particular Kabbalah Tree is Sylvia P. Gainsford and she believes art is an international language. This glyph graces the back side of the Kabbalah Cards by Paul Roland. See: abergwaun.com/gallery.htm for further info on the artist.
I would be reluctant to call it a map of consciousness, yet, I am inclined to consider it alive and metaphorical and multidimensional in a way that is elegant in its simplicity of the complex (not complicated).
Let's start with terminology. The circles are called Sephiroth, the plural is Sephira. The connecting lines are called Paths. At the top: the 1st three circles form an upward pointing (feminine) triangle. These three are a united ONE and transcendent, called Supernal. Even though we see 3 Sephira when we look at this, it is drawn that way so we can make sense of it; there is No separation of these 3; they are 3 in1. The uppermost is Kether: The Igniting Spark of Brilliance, The Infinite One, All of All… The second Sephiroth is Chockmah: The Father, Divine Willing, Light… The third Sephiroth is Binah: The Divine Mother; The Womb, Love…
Supernal is Heaven, undifferentiated, Absolute Infinite Light and Love, GodGood. This is a 'realm' of NO+thing/Nothing.
WEI glimpse the tipity -top of the Cosmic iceberg…
I like the fact that the Ein Sof is in the center of this tree drawing. - the dotted line circle. Ein Sof - the mystery behind the mystery. All the circles are states of being, shifts of the assemblage point, features of the band of awareness that is human separated in to parts for the lessons that can be learned. Beautiful image.
